Odin is a tall and lean Dogo Argentino with great speed and athleticism. A natural and effortless jumper. A standard weight of roughly 110lbs and a working weight of 100lbs. A dominant dog, he requires a confident and calculated handling. However, to those in his circle he is a very affectionate dog with a constant desire to socialize. Outside of that circle he is a suspicious dog with the required levels of aggression for protection work. Fluent in both defense and prey work when in drive he delivers a powerful bite. In protection he stays clear headed and secondary obedience training came quickly with very little correction. A highly food motivated dog with exceptional intelligence for any breed, teaching him new behaviors came quickly often with only a handful of repetitions. While corrections need to be fair, he has a rare ability for the breed to handle corrections and process their meaning without shutting down. His nose is the best among my dogs so his ability to track is without question but motivating him to do so had to come with management.  Unfortunately, Odin has passed away.

Frigg BH, FPR1, FPR2, IPO1

Frigg is a long and athletic Dogo Argentino with the most speed and athleticism of my kennel. A natural and effortless jumper. A standard weight between 80 to 83lbs with a working weight closer to 75lbs. She has the most natural food drive of my dogs, and this combines with a desire to please that has produced the best obedience. There has been little need for corrections, as my disappointment often proves enough. Frigg possess a good degree of suspicion with strangers but can quickly be introduced and socialized while maintaining good awareness. She is a dog well versed in defense. An excellent tracking dog, she has produced the best scores in any phase for my dogs (A 99 point off lead track). She genuinely enjoys tracking and when she’s on a roll is a joy to watch.  Unfortunately, Frigg has passed away.

Rika BH

Rika is a shorter and powerfully built Dogo Argentino and throws her strength around. A Standard weight between 80 to 83lbs with a working weight around 75lbs. She has a good amount of food drive, and while it does not match my other dogs, she has a natural motor and the perfect “Sporty” temperament that is rare for the breed. She is a very sociable, with a desire to be wherever the action is and this includes the trial field. She is naturally forward and has a high degree of prey drive in protection work, with a good degree of nerve in defense. She is likely my best gripping dog. While we have begun article work and tracking the project is yet to be complete.
